Looking for reliable Maokai counters? The matchup numbers below come straight from current ranked games in the Support role, not from tier-list guesswork. The toughest lane opponents at the moment are Zaahen, Mordekaiser, Ambessa: against them Maokai posts its lowest win rates in the current data set. The single strongest counter is Zaahen, where Maokai wins just 39.8% of 128 recorded games. On the flip side, Maokai performs well into Sylas, Neeko, Poppy, making them safer picks to face.
