Umbra Blades
Every few seconds, Nocturne's next attack strikes surrounding enemies for bonus physical damage and heals himself. Nocturne's basic attacks reduce this cooldown.
the Eternal Nightmare
Nocturne turns the map itself into a weapon. Paranoia shrinks the sight radius of every enemy champion and strips their allied vision, then lets him launch across a huge distance onto a chosen victim — an ultimate that creates picks out of nothing and forces entire teams to play scared whenever it is available. That global pressure defines how he is played: farm efficiently, hit level six, and start collapsing on isolated targets before the enemy can react.
His skirmishing kit backs the assassination plan with surprisingly cheap, reliable tools. Duskbringer leaves a Dusk Trail that grants him move speed, attack damage, and unit-passthrough, letting him run down anyone caught on the path. Shroud of Darkness is the skill-check ability — a spell shield that blocks one enemy ability and doubles his passive attack speed when timed correctly, often the difference between a clean kill and dying to a stun. Unspeakable Horror ticks damage while threatening a fear if the target cannot escape his range, which his trail-fueled speed makes very difficult.
Umbra Blades adds periodic cleave damage and self-healing on his basic attacks, with attack resets accelerating the cooldown — this keeps his jungle clears healthy and fast, sustaining the tempo his dive-heavy style demands.
Nocturne suits decisive players who love hunting overextended enemies and punishing poor positioning. His low mechanical difficulty makes the kit accessible, but his lack of escape tools means every Paranoia is a committed, all-in decision.

Q
Nocturne throws a shadow blade that deals damage, leaves a Dusk Trail, and causes champions to leave a Dusk Trail. While on the trail, Nocturne can move through units and has increased Move Speed and Attack Damage.
W
Nocturne empowers his blades, passively gaining Attack Speed. Activating Shroud of Darkness allows Nocturne to fade into the shadows, creating a magical barrier which blocks a single enemy ability and doubles his passive Attack Speed if successful.
E
Nocturne plants a nightmare into his target's mind, dealing damage each second and applying fear to the target if they do not get out of range by the end of the duration.
R
Nocturne reduces the sight radius of all enemy champions and removes their ally vision in the process. He can then launch himself at a nearby enemy champion.
