Nidalee

Nidalee is a shapeshifting mid laner who alternates between a long-range poke mage and a melee assassin, all governed by her ultimate, Aspect Of The Cougar, which swaps her entire ability set at will. In human form she harasses from a distance; in cougar form she becomes a mobile finisher. Because the transformation has no resource cost tied to it, her tempo revolves around weaving both stances into a single fluid combo.

The Hunt cycle

Her human kit sets up kills that her cougar kit closes out. Javelin Toss gains damage the farther it flies, punishing enemies who stand at maximum range, while Bushwhack traps reveal and soften targets in key positions. Landing either on a champion or monster triggers a Hunt through her Prowl passive, granting her the speed to close the gap. From there she shifts to cougar: Pounce covers ground and deals area damage, Swipe claws everything in front of her, and Takedown executes low-health targets, dealing more damage the less life they have.

Primal Surge adds a supportive wrinkle, healing allies and granting attack speed, which gives her value even when she cannot safely dive. Her weaknesses follow from the data: no hard crowd control anywhere in the kit, and a modest defense rating that punishes mistimed engages.
