Fury of the Xer'Sai
Rek'Sai generates Fury by Attacking and hitting with basic Abilities. She consumes this Fury while Burrowed to restore health.
the Void Burrower
Rek’Sai operates on two planes at once: above ground she is a bruising melee fighter, and below it she becomes a fast-moving hunter with an entirely different toolkit. Her W, Burrow, is the hinge of the whole champion — diving underground grants extra move speed and new ability variants, at the cost of reduced vision and the inability to basic attack. Un-burrowing knocks up and damages nearby enemies, making the transition itself an engage tool.
Her resource is Rage rather than mana. Fury of the Xer’Sai generates Fury through attacks and basic abilities, and she consumes it while Burrowed to restore health, so the natural rhythm is to fight on the surface, then dive underground to top herself back up. Above ground, Queen’s Wrath empowers her next three attacks with bonus area damage and Furious Bite deals true damage at maximum Fury; while Burrowed, Prey Seeker pokes and reveals from range, and Tunnel builds long-lasting passages she can reuse to cross terrain.
Void Rush marks enemies she damages, then lets her go briefly untargetable and lunge at a marked target for heavy max-health damage — a genuine execute that closes out skirmishes. Played in the top lane as a Fighter/Tank, Rek’Sai rewards players who enjoy managing a stance-swap champion, setting up tunnel networks for rotations, and turning terrain knowledge into ambushes. Her low mechanical difficulty rating hides real strategic depth: the kit is easy to press, but using Burrow timing and tunnels well is what separates good Rek’Sai players.
