Illumination
Lux's damaging spells charge the target with energy for a few seconds. Lux's next attack ignites the energy, dealing bonus magic damage (depending on Lux's level) to the target.
the Lady of Luminosity
Lux is one of the most flexible artillery mages in the game, splitting her playtime between mid lane and support because her kit functions equally well as a primary damage source or as utility built around a single ally-shielding tool. With 550 range and a 9/10 magic rating, she wins by layering skillshots from distances most opponents cannot answer.
Her damage sequence is a study in combo construction. Light Binding roots up to two enemies in a line; Lucent Singularity flies to an area, slows everyone inside, and detonates on command; and Illumination, her passive, marks spell targets with energy that her next basic attack ignites for bonus damage. The full pattern — bind, singularity, attack, detonate — front-loads enormous burst with no execution barrier beyond aim. Final Spark serves as both finisher and poke tool: a screen-length beam that also refreshes and re-triggers Illumination.
In the support role, Prismatic Barrier changes her texture entirely. The thrown wand shields every ally it touches on the way out and back, letting Lux answer poke and all-in damage while still providing a root and slow for her carry. Her weakness is written into her stats: 2 attack, modest durability, and no mobility spell whatsoever, so a Lux caught out of position simply dies.
Lux appeals to players who love skillshot geometry — leading targets, cutting off dodge paths, and snapping the full combo onto anyone who missteps. She gives teams long-range pick potential, siege pressure and a surprising amount of shielding for a damage-first mage.

Q
Lux releases a sphere of light that binds and deals damage to up to two enemy units.
W
Lux throws her wand and bends the light around any friendly target it touches, protecting them from enemy damage.
E
Fires an anomaly of twisted light to an area, which slows nearby enemies. Lux can detonate it to damage enemies in the area of effect.
R
After gathering energy, Lux fires a beam of light that deals damage to all targets in the area. In addition, triggers Lux's passive ability and refreshes the Illumination debuff duration.
