PCultivation of War
Zaahen's attacks and abilities against enemy champions grant him stacks of Determination, gaining bonus Attack Damage per stack. When filled with Determination, Zaahen gains increased Attack Damage and can revive.
The Unsundered
Zaahen is a Darkin-armed fighter-assassin hybrid for top and mid lane whose entire kit orbits one promise: keep swinging at champions and you become nearly unkillable. His passive, Cultivation of War, stacks Determination with every attack and ability landed on enemy champions, granting bonus attack damage per stack — and once the bar fills, he gains a further damage surge and the ability to revive. That built-in second life changes how both sides play fights around him.
His combat rhythm is drain-heavy and simple, matching his difficulty rating of 2. The Darkin Glaive empowers his next attack into a double slash that heals him, with a recast that converts the follow-up hit into bonus damage and a knockup — sustain and crowd control folded into one button. Dreaded Return stabs in a line and drags everyone hit toward him, feeding targets straight into glaive range. Aureate Rush provides a dash with a spinning slice on arrival, serving as engage, repositioning, and waveclear at once.
Grim Deliverance caps the pattern: Zaahen rises and slams downward, damaging enemies and healing for a portion of the damage dealt — the more bodies hit, the more he heals. With his Q healing and revive passive, extended brawls tilt his way the longer they run.
With 8 attack and 6 defense, Zaahen suits players who want to be the relentless centerpiece of every skirmish without a steep mechanical tax. His counterplay is legible from the kit itself: burst him before Determination fills, or hold disengage for the revive, and his snowball never starts rolling.
