Illaoi

Illaoi is a top-lane juggernaut who turns lane space itself into a weapon. Through Prophet of an Elder God, she and the Vessels she creates spawn Tentacles on nearby impassable terrain — and those Tentacles swing at her targets, dealing physical damage and healing her when they connect. She fights best in prepared territory: surrounded by Tentacles near her tower she is a fearsome duelist, while in open ground she loses most of her threat.

Her kit revolves around forcing enemies into that web. Test of Spirit rips the spirit out of an opponent and plants it in front of her; damage dealt to the spirit echoes onto the original target, and if the spirit dies or the enemy runs, they become a Vessel that keeps spawning Tentacles. Harsh Lesson lets her leap onto a target and commands nearby Tentacles to swing at it, while Tentacle Smash both passively increases Tentacle damage and slams one down on demand for burst and sustain.

Feast or Famine Teamfighting

Leap of Faith is her all-in button: she smashes her idol into the ground, damaging everyone nearby and spawning a Tentacle per champion hit. Land it on several enemies and the fight becomes a thicket of swinging limbs healing her through the damage. With 8/10 attack and solid defense but no mobility or hard crowd control, Illaoi contributes zone dominance rather than pick potential — enemies must either fight inside her Tentacle field or concede objectives. She rewards patient players who enjoy setting traps and winning extended brawls through attrition, at an accessible 4/10 difficulty.
