the Storm's Fury
Janna defines the disengage enchanter archetype. Played almost exclusively as a support (with occasional mid experiments), she wins by making enemy engages fail rather than by creating her own. Her passive, Tailwind, grants allies bonus movement speed when moving toward her, and converts a portion of her own bonus move speed into extra on-hit magic damage — which is why many Janna builds stack speed to sharpen her poke.
Her signature tool is Howling Gale, a chargeable storm that grows the longer it brews before flying forward to knock up everything in its path. A quick-tap Q interrupts a dash instantly; a fully charged one clears a chokepoint. Zephyr grants passive movement speed and lets her walk through units, and can be cast to damage and slow a single target. Eye of the Storm shields an ally champion or even a turret while granting bonus attack damage, making it both a peel tool and a buff for her marksman’s trades.
Monsoon is the panic answer to any dive: Janna hurls all nearby enemies away from her, then channels soothing winds that heal allies standing in the storm. Against dive compositions and hard engage, a well-timed Monsoon single-handedly voids the enemy’s game plan. Janna brings peel, sustain, and tempo denial rather than kill pressure, and her fragility means positioning is everything. She appeals to reactive players who enjoy reading enemy cooldowns and answering aggression with perfectly timed counters.

Q
By creating a localized change in pressure and temperature, Janna is able to create a small storm that grows in size with time. She can activate the spell again to release the storm. On release this storm will fly towards the direction it was cast in, dealing damage and knocking away any enemies in its path.
W
Janna summons an air elemental that passively increases her Move Speed and enables her to pass through units. She may also activate this ability to deal damage and slow an enemy's Move Speed.
E
Janna conjures a defensive gale that shields an ally champion or turret from incoming damage and increases their Attack Damage.
R
Janna surrounds herself in a magical storm, throwing enemies back. After the storm has settled, soothing winds heal nearby allies while the ability is active.
