Renata's Attacks deal bonus damage and mark enemies. Renata's allies can damage marked enemies to deal bonus damage.
the Chem-Baroness
Renata Glasc bends fights through leverage rather than raw damage, and her kit reads like a series of contracts with escalating stakes. Played primarily as a ranged support (with occasional mid-lane appearances), she is a high-difficulty enchanter-controller hybrid whose value comes from decision-making, not mechanics-for-their-own-sake.
Her passive, Leverage, marks enemies with her attacks so allies can consume the mark for bonus damage, giving her steady lane poke that feeds her carry. Handshake is the pick tool: a missile that roots the first enemy hit, with a recast that physically throws the victim in a chosen direction — toward her team for a kill, or into their own team as disruption. Loyalty Program rounds out her laning, firing paired chemtech missiles that shield allies while damaging and slowing enemies along the way.
Bailout is unlike any other save in the game: instead of shielding, it buffs an ally to fight harder and delays their death entirely — if they secure a takedown while dying, they survive. Used well it converts lost fights into trades; used poorly it merely postpones the inevitable. Hostile Takeover, her ultimate, sends out a chemical wave that turns enemies Berserk, forcing them to attack their own allies. A good ultimate through three or four enemies can make the opposing team fight itself while Renata’s side cleans up.
She appeals to players who enjoy manipulating fights like a puppeteer — reading positioning, choosing who lives, and deciding which direction chaos flows.
