About Draven

Everything about Draven’s gameplay is loud, greedy and skill-expressive. This bot-lane marksman converts mechanical showmanship directly into gold through League of Draven: he stacks his fans’ Adoration by catching Spinning Axes and killing minions, then cashes the whole pile in as bonus gold when he kills an enemy champion. No other ADC snowballs a lead this explicitly — every catch is money, and every death resets the act.

Spinning Axe is the heart of the kit. It empowers his next attack with heavy bonus physical damage, then ricochets into the air; catching it readies another axe automatically, and he can juggle two at once. The result is a constant positioning dance — Draven must chase his own axe landing spots while also dodging skillshots and kiting enemies. Blood Rush feeds this loop, granting a surge of move and attack speed whose cooldown refreshes every time he catches an axe, so a clean juggle means near-permanent steroids. Stand Aside shoves enemies sideways with a slow, his only self-peel, and Whirling Death sends two massive axes across the entire map that reverse direction after striking a champion, letting him finish low-health targets in other lanes.

Strengths and costs

His early-game damage is among the highest of any marksman — an attack rating of 9 backed by axe-empowered trades that most lanes simply cannot answer. The costs are real: axe-catching telegraphs his movement, he has no dash, and the cash-out passive makes every death doubly punishing.

Draven belongs to confident players who want their audacity rewarded — playing scared is playing wrong.

Draven Abilities

P

League of Draven

Draven gains his fans' Adoration when he catches a Spinning Axe or kills a minion, monster, or tower. Killing enemy champions grants Draven bonus gold based on how much Adoration he has.

Q

Spinning Axe

Draven's next attack will deal bonus physical damage. This axe will ricochet off the target high up into the air. If Draven catches it, he automatically readies another Spinning Axe. Draven can have two Spinning Axes at once.

Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 Cost: 45 Range: 300
W

Blood Rush

Draven gains increased Move Speed and Attack Speed. The Move Speed bonus decreases rapidly over its duration. Catching a Spinning Axe will refresh the cooldown of Blood Rush.

Cooldown: 12 Cost: 40/35/30/25/20 Range: 1000
E

Stand Aside

Draven throws his axes, dealing physical damage to targets hit and knocking them aside. Targets hit are slowed.

Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 Cost: 70 Range: 1050
R

Whirling Death

Draven hurls two massive axes to deal physical damage to each unit struck. Whirling Death slowly reverses direction and returns to Draven after striking an enemy champion. Draven may also activate this ability while the axes are in flight to cause it to return early. Deals less damage for each unit hit and resets when the axes reverse direction. Executes enemies who have less health than Draven's number of Adoration stacks.

Cooldown: 100/90/80 Cost: 100
