Prowl compounds it, granting move speed through brush and far more of it toward visible enemy champions within 1400 range, while Viego travels at 345 against her 335 in the open. Harrowed Path answers part of the problem, since hiding in the Black Mist gives camouflage, move speed and attack speed around terrain, but the mist has to be placed before a chase rather than during it. Aspect of the Cougar then flips her into a melee form where Takedown threatens wounded targets outright.

On defensive stats Nidalee is genuinely thin at 610 health and 32 armor, and 2,463 at level 18 does not outgrow Viego’s 2,483. Her mixed damage still means armor is an incomplete purchase. The separation is execution and pace: Nidalee is rated difficulty 8 against Viego’s 5, and the Hard verdict reflects a matchup lost in the approach rather than in the trade.
