Her own defenses are modest to begin with: 28 base magic resistance and 98 armor at level 18 are low numbers for a frontline champion.

Her 47.9% over 664 games on patch 16.13.1 is a Hard grade with causes beyond that interaction. Vel’Koz pokes from 525 range against a champion who has to close to 175 while walking at 315 base move speed, the slowest tempo of the two by a wide margin. Plasma Fission slows and splits, Void Rift detonates twice, and Tectonic Disruption knocks up and pushes close enemies away — a full disengage package aimed at precisely the moment Ferromancy: Crash Down commits. Her mixed damage does at least force him to weigh both resistances, though 22 base armor and 30 magic resistance leave him thin against either.

• Frailty: 22 base armor and 590 base health mean a landed engage still finishes him.
• Ultimate: Life Form Disintegration Ray channels for 2.5 seconds, and Shattering Strike’s stun cancels it outright.
• Execution: he is rated 8 on the difficulty scale against Rell’s 0, and missed skillshots are the main reason her games are won.
