About Team Bliss
Team Bliss was an Australian-rooted esports organisation that competed in the Pacific Championship Series (PCS), the regional league spanning Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. Representing the Oceanic contingent within a predominantly East Asian competitive sphere, Bliss carved out a role as one of the outfits carrying antipodean talent onto a broader international stage after Oceania’s domestic scene was folded into the wider Pacific structure.
Crossing Borders into the PCS
The PCS emerged as a consolidated home for teams across the Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan corridor, and its ranks widened to welcome squads from Oceania seeking stronger competition than their home circuit could offer. For an Australian side like Team Bliss, joining the PCS meant regular matches against experienced Taiwanese and regional opposition, a step up in intensity that demanded rapid adaptation to a faster, more coordinated style of play.
The Roster
Team Bliss fielded a squad built around BioPanther and Kevy, complemented by Haeri, Violet, Aladoric, and Decoy. The lineup blended Oceanic mainstays with additional depth, and its composition reflected the pathway many antipodean players sought: use a PCS platform to sharpen their craft and raise their profile beyond a home region with limited international slots. Each member shouldered the dual burden of representing their organisation and, by extension, the ambitions of Oceanic League of Legends abroad.
Competing in the PCS was never a gentle proposition. The league’s established powers set a high bar, and newcomers had to earn respect through consistent performances across a grinding split. Bliss operated in that unforgiving middle ground where every series carried weight for seeding and survival.
Team Bliss has since disbanded, and its story now belongs to the recent history of Pacific competition. Even so, the organisation stands as an example of how regional boundaries in League of Legends have blurred, with Oceanic talent increasingly willing to travel and test itself against Asia’s finest rather than remain confined at home.
