About Invictis
Invictis, known by his real name Carter Brewer, is a retired jungler from New Zealand who competed within the Oceanic scene, most notably in the LCO alongside Kanga Esports. As a New Zealander playing in a region long dominated by Australian organizations, he represents the pool of Oceanic talent that gives the LCO its distinct regional character.
The Jungler’s Domain
Playing jungle means shouldering responsibility for the parts of the map that no lane can fully control. Junglers move between camps and lanes, dictating the early-game tempo through ganks, counter-ganks, and objective setups around dragons and heralds. The role requires a strong internal clock, a constant read on enemy movements, and the decision-making to know when to invade, when to farm, and when to force a play. A jungler often functions as the on-map coordinator, and a strong one can single-handedly tilt the early game in a team’s favor.
The Oceanic Stage
The LCO stands as Oceania’s premier competitive league, a proving ground for players across Australia and New Zealand hoping to make their mark. Kanga Esports competed within this ecosystem, and for Invictis it offered a platform to test his jungling instincts against the region’s best. Oceania has a history of exporting talent to larger international leagues, and the LCO serves as the launchpad for those ambitions, making every season an opportunity for players to raise their profile.
Closing the Chapter
Having since retired from competition, Invictis leaves behind a career tied to the Oceanic scene and its ongoing effort to punch above its weight on the global stage. Junglers who step away from play often carry with them a deep understanding of macro strategy and shot-calling, skills that translate well into coaching, analysis, or community roles. As a New Zealand representative in the LCO, his participation contributed to the depth and competitiveness of a region that continues to nurture homegrown talent.
