Master Yi vs Trundle Counter Pick

The rest of Trundle‘s kit serves the same duel. King’s Tribute heals him whenever a nearby enemy unit dies, which is constant income while clearing camps. Frozen Domain raises his attack speed, move speed and healing received inside a chosen area. Chomp saps attack damage on hit, cutting into the 65 Yi starts with. Pillar of Ice creates impassable terrain, and outside Alpha Strike there is no reliable route through it.

Bulk favors Trundle throughout: 650 base health to 640, 37 armor to 33, 68 attack damage to 65, and 2,520 health at level eighteen against 2,425. Both share 175 attack range, so the spacing edge Yi enjoys against most melee opponents disappears.

Wuju Style’s true damage is the one stat Subjugate cannot take away, and Highlander removes the slow radiating from Pillar of Ice. Trundle deals physical damage against Yi’s 33 base armor, and Chomp trims the attack damage that his on-hit pattern multiplies. With difficulty at 5 against 4, there is little room to read the result as a piloting problem.
