About PEACE
PEACE was an Australian esports organisation that competed in the League of Legends Circuit Oceania, the LCO, the premier domestic competition for the Oceanic region. Representing Australia on the local stage, the team was one of the fixtures of a scene that has long served as a proving ground for talent from Australia, New Zealand, and the wider Pacific before the region’s players fan out to larger international leagues.
Roots in Oceanic League of Legends
The LCO is the successor to the Oceanic Pro League and functions as the top tier of competition in a region known for producing scrappy, ambitious rosters. PEACE fielded a lineup that featured Chillness, Weizhe, sHAKa, NuL1, Chayon, and CL0UD, a mix of players tasked with pushing the organisation up the domestic standings and challenging the region’s perennial contenders.
Competing in a Compact Region
Oceania has always been a comparatively small circuit, with a limited number of professional slots and fierce rivalries between its established clubs. That environment breeds intensity: with fewer teams, every series carries weight, and standout individual performers quickly draw attention from scouts abroad. PEACE operated squarely within this dynamic, seeking to translate strong domestic showings into regional silverware and international representation for Oceania.
A Former Contender
PEACE has since disbanded, and its LCO campaigns now belong to the region’s competitive history. The organisation remains part of the broader narrative of Oceanic League of Legends, a scene that continues to punch above its weight in developing players who go on to test themselves in larger markets. Though the team is no longer active, the players who wore its colours contributed to a chapter of Australian esports that fans of the region will remember.
