LOS Academy served as the developmental affiliate of the LOS organisation, operating as the secondary roster within a professional League of Legends structure. Now classified as a disbanded team, LOS Academy represented the crucial but often overlooked tier of competition where emerging players sharpen their skills beneath the main roster.

The Purpose of an Academy

Academy teams exist to bridge the gap between amateur play and the top professional level. By fielding a second squad, an organisation can scout, sign and cultivate young prospects in a competitive setting, giving them structured practice, coaching and match experience without the immediate pressure of the main stage. Promising academy talents can then be promoted to the senior team as needs arise.
