About BeFive
BeFive was a Serbian League of Legends team that competed in the Esports Balkan League, the flagship regional competition serving the countries of the Balkans within the wider EMEA structure. Now disbanded, the organisation was part of a scene that has steadily built its own identity, offering a competitive home for players from a cluster of nations often overlooked in discussions of European esports.
Representing Serbia in the Balkans
As a Serbian outfit, BeFive carried the colours of a nation with a growing appetite for competitive gaming. The Esports Balkan League gave teams like it a formal platform, drawing together talent from across the region and fostering rivalries that helped raise the standard of local play. Participation in the EBL was a marker of ambition, signalling a team’s intent to compete among the best the Balkans had to offer.
The Balkan Competitive Scene
The Esports Balkan League has long functioned as a proving ground for emerging talent from Serbia and its neighbours. Nested within the EMEA ecosystem, it forms one of the many regional pillars that feed into Europe’s broader competitive pyramid. Teams competing at this level face the perennial demands of amateur and semi-professional play, adapting to shifting patches and roster changes while striving to distinguish themselves in a crowded field.
BeFive’s presence added to the competitive fabric of this scene during its time. Every team that enters a regional league contributes to its depth, sharpening the level of play and expanding the pool of experience available to the region as a whole.
Though the team has since disbanded, its chapter forms part of the ongoing story of Balkan League of Legends. The scene continues to develop, and the efforts of former teams like BeFive remain woven into the foundation on which that growth is built.
