Professor Ryze reimagines the ancient rune keeper as an academic figure, part of the Academy line that dressed several champions in scholarly attire. The concept plays well against his lore as a wandering mage obsessed with forbidden knowledge.

Released in October 2010 for 975 RP, it has since entered the Legacy vault, meaning it is absent from regular sale and only returns during select promotional periods. No chromas were made for this release.
