Yorick reaches 2,588 health at level 18 to Shen’s 2,293, attacks from 175 range against 125, and adds pressure his opponent cannot mirror through the Mist Walkers summoned by Shepherd of Souls. Mourning Mist reduces armor, slows, and marks a target so those summons sprint toward it, and his damage is mixed, so no single resistance line covers the package.

Two mechanics keep the result in Shen’s column. Spirit’s Refuge blocks attacks rather than abilities, and a Yorick pushing with a horde plus the Maiden of the Mist routes a large share of his damage straight into that block. Twilight Assault answers the health advantage directly, since its damage scales with the target’s maximum health. Last Rites heals Yorick on a delayed strike and Dark Procession can wall Shen inside a fight, so Shadow Dash is usually worth keeping for the wall rather than the opener. Both sides carry 340 movement speed and 32 base magic resistance, but energy lets Shen keep casting while Yorick’s mana limits how often the summon cycle restarts.
