Shen is the rare opponent who does not compete for mana, since he runs on Energy, which means poking him out of position is not an attrition battle Karma can win through resource pressure. The 400-unit range gap does most of the work. Shen attacks from 125, Karma from 525, and his only gap-closer is Shadow Dash, a directional dash that taunts everything in its path.
